Tucker Beathard is a Little Rock ‘n’ Roll mixed with a little country and thats exactly why I like him. I don’t think there’s ever been a time where I’ve hit “next” on a Tucker song and if he keeps putting out jams like this I don’t think there ever will be.
The guy completely has his own sound and somehow, (not sure who, because clearly they need to have some auditory tests run on their ears) he’s also got some haters.
What I love about his music is his ability to relate his own personal struggles to his fans. They aren’t watered down versions made to appeal to a wider audience, but real songs references real moments in his own life. The broader themes are what you relate to.
In his latest, “Proving Everybody Wrong”, Beathard speaks to the under dogs and the ones who go out there and show their so called “haters” exactly what they’re capable of.
Beathards own critics would say he’s “too country for rock and roll and too rock and roll for country”. I say, he’s too damn good to listen to their opinions in the first place.
