BREAKING: Chris Stapleton Announces He Will Release TWO Albums in 2017

Finally, we have some real details for you.

According to The Tennessean, Chris Stapleton welcomed members of the music community to RCA Studio A on Wednesday to share new music and a couple of surprises. Instead of one new album, Stapleton is planning to release TWO. Yes, two.

From A Room: Volume 1 will be released May 5. From A Room: Volume 2 will be in stores later this year.

“I’m real proud of this record,” Stapleton told the crowd. “We made it right here in (RCA Studio A) like the last one. We camped out in here … and had a lot of fun recording things.” Stapleton had a hand in writing most of the songs on the records, naturally. The Tennessean also pointed out that when Chris performed “Either Way,” a song about a relationship falling apart, the people in attendance gasped in amazement and then followed up with roaring applause.

Safe to say, I’m pretty pumped about this.

Here is the track listing for Volume 1, now available for pre-order on iTunes:

“Broken Halos”

“Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Morning”

“Second To Know”

“Up To No Good Livin’”

“Either Way”

“I Was Wrong”

“Without Your Love”

“Them Stems

“Death Row”
