Spice Up Your Spirits This Season With Southern Comfort Gingerbread Spice

A black coffee maker on a counter

We go crazy over pumpkin spice in the Fall, how bout we give gingerbread spice the same treatment this winter?

The good people over at Southern Comfort have got this one covered. Their seasonal Gingerbread Spice spin on their original SoCo is the perfect complement for your holiday cocktails.

As a bartender, here’s how I think you should mix ’em up:

1. Gingerbread Mule

The best thing about moscow mules is how versatile they are. The ingredients are simple, and can be altered based on your alcohol of choice. If you’re looking to add SoCo Gingerbread into the mix, here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Fill copper mug with ice
  2. Add a shot (or more, if you prefer) of Soco Gingerbread Spice
  3. Fill almost to brim with ginger beer
  4. Add squirt of lime juice

2. Gingerbread Spiced Spiked Hot Chocolate

  1. Whip up some microwaved hot cocoa mix as you normally would
  2. Add as much gingerbread spice as you’d like!
  3. BONUS: add Rum Chata for a creamier, stronger base

3. Gingerbread Toast Crunch Shot

  1. Pour equal part SoCo Gingerbread over ice in glass or shaker
  2. Add equal part Rum Chata and cover with another glass, shake quickly
  3. Using top glass, strain liquid over shot glasses, avoiding ice chunks
