If You Like ‘Nashville’s’ Charles Esten and Kicking Cancer’s A**, We’ve Got Just The Thing

It doesn’t get better than a handsome man with a cause.

So, Charles Esten (aka Deacon Claybourne) has been busy working on the new season of Nashville, but has still managed to find time to plan an incredible fundraiser for people affected by cancer. What a man. If you don’t know anyone who had or does have cancer, you are one of the lucky few. For Charles, that would be his now healthy 15-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 2. This year Charles is the chair of the fundraiser called Light The Night Walk and will be joined by his daughter Addie and thousands of other people around the country to raise funds for cancer cures. I don’t know about you, but if Charles Esten is going to be there AND I can help a great cause, you can count me in.

The walks are taking place all over the country, but if you’re looking for a good excuse to visit Nashville, Charles will be doing a late night concert after the Nashville walk on October 21st AND you can even buy tickets to join Charles on a guided ‘Nashville’ bus tour. All the proceeds from both events go to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Finally, an excuse to swoon over Charles Esten while being a good person. Here’s a video of Charles performing at the Bluebird Café for your viewing pleasure while you sign up.
