If you call yourself a country music fan, you have to go see Whitey Morgan and the 78’s live. They’re as good as honky tonk country music can get.
At a recent show in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Whitey and the gang took a run at The Marshall Tucker Band’s 1975 hit “Fire On The Mountain,” a song originally written for Charlie Daniels to record. When Charlie passed on it, the song became the lead single for the band’s Searchin’ For A Rainbow album, their first Top 40 hit and a southern rock staple.
Whitey Morgan’s Hard Times and White Lines album was released on October 26th, click here to purchase.
