Easy To Make Candy Cane Vodka Is Here To Get You And Santa Shloshed

Every year, we walk down our favorite aisle, the booze aisle, and see new festive flavors for the holidays. One of my favorite holiday flavors is peppermint. But with Christmas coming up, I’m trying to save money so I’d rather make use of what I already have at home!

Turns out, candy cane vodka is super easy to make, especially if you have plain vodka laying around. The candy canes melt in the vodka and infuse it with a fresh peppermint kick. Try it for yourself…

What you need: 

  • Mason jars (or a trusty container to infuse in)
  • Candy canes
  • Your favorite vodka, 1 1/2 cups

How to make:

  • Unwrap candy canes & break them into halves
  • Put the candy canes into the mason jar (16 oz.)
  • Pour vodka into the jar (1 1/2 cups)
  • Let steep for a few hours, candy canes will break down
  • Store in cool place until ready to enjoy!
  • Shake before serving!
