Kip Moore’s new album, Slowheart, is going to be a special one.
Having heard some of the studio versions of the songs that made the album, one thing is for sure – it will be Kip’s most impressive album to date. Kip closes out the album with “Guitar Man” (written by Kip, Dan Couch, Westin Davis), a six-minute song anybody with a love for emotional lyrics will latch on to.
In this video from a couple years back, Kip does an acoustic performance of the song, while also providing some background and context to the song. Simply put, the song speaks about a guy busting his ass in the bars for his money, only to be not remembered by the fans in attendance, jumping around from bar to bar, making ends meet for the love of music.
