Shania Twain Says Her Vocal Problems In The Past Were Because Of Lyme Disease

Wow, who knew this?

Shania Twain is one of country music’s most iconic artists of all time. The “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” singer has yet to release a new album in 15 years, and fans have been yearning for one. Luckily, it’s on it’s way, folks.

Twain hasn’t just been sitting on her ass with no desire to sing, some obstacles have prohibited her to do what she loves.

A recent article in the Los Angeles Times has Twain saying why she has struggled with vocal problems.

She developed a condition known as dysphonia that can be brought on by stress, but recently she attributed her condition to contracting Lyme disease back in her hardest times.

“My problem isn’t unique, or rare, but the exercises are very different than for nodules, and I can’t get an operation for mine,” said Twain.

We’re not sure of Twain’s current condition with Lyme disease, but we do know that she is releasing new music and has passed tests that say she can take on the rigor of touring.

I can’t wait to hear her new music, how about you?
