That Justin Moore‘s a pretty good dude.

You love to see artists using their fame for good, and recently Justin used his to give back in a big way.

The country star held his annual Justin Moore St. Jude Golf Classic in his home state of Arkansas, raising $534,294 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the non-profit treatment and research facility in Memphis, Tennessee that’s dedicated to not only providing free care to childhood cancer patients but also finding a cure for the terrible disease.

Justin was joined by several of his fellow country artists, including fellow Arkansas native Collin Raye, along with Emerson Drive, Austin Michael and Tyler Kinch.

The golf tournament also included a pre-party with a private dinner and, of course, acoustic entertainment provided by the host himself.

This is the fourth year that Justin’s hosted his annual fundraiser, which last year topped over $1 million raised in the lifetime of the event to go towards ensuring patients at St. Jude never receive a bill for their treatment.

And of course Justin’s a guy who’s always been generous when it comes to using his fame to benefit others. When a tornado ripped through his home state of Arkansas last year, Justin appeared at a benefit concert that raised over $100,00 for victims of the disaster.

He also regularly hosts benefit concerts to raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of Saline County, Arkansas, raising over $700,000 for the organization so far. The group has also established a Justin Moore Music Academy for kids, where children have the opportunity to learn to play instruments like piano and guitar.

Easy guy to root for when he’s done so much for others – and not to mention, his music’s pretty damn good too.
