If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent a few too many of your days binge watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix and wishing you had a motorcycle license.
Now, I’m really just wishing the show wasn’t over. Fortunately, it’s making a comeback.
Well, kind of.
A Sons of Anarchy is in the works, this time following the stories of fellow Cali biker gang the Mayans Motorcycle Club. The series is set in the time following Jax Teller’s death (RT if you cried your eyes out) and will follow a Mayans MC prospect, Ezekiel “EZ” Rayes and the clubs life on the border.
While we may be saying goodbye to SAMCRO, I’m just looking forward to getting back in the drama of the West Coast motorcycle scene.
The series was picked up by FX in December, but no release date has been set. The cast includes J.D. Pardo, Edward James Olmos, Jacqueline Obradors, John Ortiz, Antonio Jaramillo, Richard Cabral, Clayton Cardenas, Sarah Bolger and Emilio Rivera.
Katey Sagal, who played Gemma Teller for the original hit took to Instagram this week to welcome the new cast of Mayans MC, and the message will have SOA fans weeping.
