It’s About to Be ‘A Very Kacey Christmas’

Let the countdown begin.

On Oct. 28th Kacey Musgraves will be releasing her very first Christmas album which will feature Leon Bridges, Willie Nelson and the Quebe Sisters. And while the album will include classic covers such as ‘Let It Snow’ and ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’, Musgraves isn’t stopping there. The 12-track record will include four original holiday tunes that are said to have vintage sounds from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s along with inspiration drawn from Bing Crosby, the Andrew Sisters and Nat King Cole.

A man and a woman

“Working on my Christmas album has been one of the most enriching musical experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it,” said Musgraves. “It was very important for us to build arrangements that are totally new and very me.” She’s never let us down before, and we can’t wait to hear the Musgraves twist she’s sure to put on our holiday favorites.
