LakeShake Lead Up: Meet Rising Star Clare Dunn

We’re really excited for the first Windy City LakeShake Festival this weekend. We’ve seen the country music scene blow up in Chicago the last few years – we’re really happy about that and proud to call this beautiful city home.

With headliners Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Florida Georgia Line you know it’s going to be a rocking three days. Along with those superstars, the festival is going to highlight a TON of up-and-coming stars in their own right.

Leading up to Friday, we’re gonna spotlight some of these artists, sharing their music and what makes them so special.

First up is the rockin’ badass, Clare Dunn.

We were fortunate enough to meet Clare and see her perform a few months back. She’s so talented and BRINGS IT with her live performance.

You can check out our full interview we did with Clare right here.

A little background on Clare…

She was born on a farm in southeast Colorado. Growing up she spent a lot of time working cattle, hauling water, driving combines, tractors and eighteen wheelers. While the miles piled up hauling water to cattle, Clare dreamed of creating her own music.

That’s exactly what she ended up doing.

From Clare’s website:

Touring, she has opened for Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Colt Ford, Parmalee, Hank Jr., Jamey Johnson and others as well as played major festivals. The first reaction from promoters and buyers is always the same… “I didn’t realize that you were that good and actually played guitar.” With the single “Get Out” going to radio, the world will see how unique Clare Dunn, her music and her live performance is in the world of country music.

Clare will be performing Saturday, opening up for Brad Paisley. Here’s a little taste of what you can expect from rising star, Clare Dunn.
