Can you even imagine starting a life on the property of these two legends?
Johnny and June Carter Cash are one of the most iconic couples in country history, and as of yesterday their lakefront Tennessee property that they shared for nearly all of their 35-year marriage is on the market.
The home where Johnny sat for his final music video “Hurt”, where he wrote most of his songs, and where he used to host “guitar pulls” (informal jams with legends in the late 60’s and early 70’s), burned down in 2007, but the three car garage that the couple converted to a wardrobe room is still standing. People are probably already fighting over the famous 4½-acre property, but that’s not going to stop us from trying.
There’s no asking price, and not just any buyer will be suitable for the current owner.
“In my mind it would be some person (who) is a huge Johnny Cash fan,” said the seller.
Well, we can check that off the list. So, where do we apply?
Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
