Trolling the trolls… and this one will spark up the rumors again.
Last spring, Morgan Wade and Kyle Richards found themselves in the middle of a media frenzy when their unlikely friendship led to relationship rumors. While the two denied that they were anything more than platonic friends, with Richards separating from her husband at the same time and announcing she was working on a documentary about Wade’s life, the public did not buy the storyline.
Instead of running from the rumors, these two embraced them with Kyle Richards playing the lover role in Morgan Wade’s music video “Fall In Love With Me.” Wade said it best when she noted that the “internet is a dumb place” and just wanted everyone to accept that they were friends and only friends.
However, it appeared that Richards and Wade might have ended their friendship when they deleted all traces of each other off social media platforms, leaving fans speculating if their friendship was a publicity stunt for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But based on a recent internet exchange, it appears that the two are back on good terms (if they ever even found themselves on bad terms).
After taking a pause from social media and only posting tour updates, Wade is back to her regularly scheduled programming. She shared an update on her double mastectomy, which was shortly followed up with a video of her on a tour bus. The lighthearted video shows Wade in full cowboy get-up, with Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” playing in the background.
Kyle Richards fired up her fingers to leave a flirty comment on the post.
“Save a horse, ride a cowgirl.”
Wade replied to the comment with skull and laughing emojis.
While I am sure this was meant with fun intentions, you can’t help but think it will spark up the relationship rumors again. Regardless of their friendship status or relationship status, as a pop-culture addict, I love the crossover of country music with Real Housewives.
On the recent reunion episode of the reality TV show, Richards gave a round about answer to Andy Cohen about if she could see herself with Morgan Wade in the future, bringing up the music video she starred in portraying Wade’s love interest.
“I said to the director, ‘I’ve never like actually kissed anybody on camera, let alone a woman.’ So I was very nervous and anxious, but if I’m being very honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes.”
Adding on to the answer later about seeing herself with Wade.
“I love her, she’s my friend and I love her. I’m evolving, I’m changing. I’m clearly going through some evolution of my own and I don’t know. I don’t know what my future holds right now.”
Time will tell if these two are something more, but given they have said time and time again they are friends I am following their lead until solid evidence comes out that they are more than friends.
