FINALLY.

Post Malone has been giving country music fans teaser after teaser (after teaser) ahead of his country music project, and now we finally have an official release date… for at least one of the songs that will be featured.

There was a little bit of a spoiler yesterday when it was announced that “I Had Some Help” would be sent to country radio next week. Obviously, that meant that the song’s official release would be sometime between now and next week.

Thanks to a recent post by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen, we now know the new song will drop on May 10th.

The picture that was used above appears to be a shot from the music video that will accompany the new song. Morgan Wallen and Post Malone were spotted filming for the “I Had Some Help” music video near the famous Joshua Tree Saloon last week.

From the looks of it, the song will scream America, trucks, fireworks and beer. What more can we really ask for from Wallen and Posty?

And of course, though the official release will be on May 10th, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen shared the stage at Stagecoach and performed “I Had Some Help” to the country music crowd.

We already know the sound and the vibe of the track, and with the perfectly timed release date next week, you can go ahead and sharpie this one as the song of the summer:
