Nothing beats a fresh beer, straight from the brewery.
With LG’s new HomeBrew craft brewing system, your kitchen becomes the brewery with the touch of a button.
LG is gearing up to debut a capsule-based craft beer making machine, LG HomeBrew, at CES 2019. The state-of-the-art device makes the brewing process incredibly easy thanks to its single-use capsules, optimized fermentation algorithm (basically a bunch of scientific shit that the average Joe like you or me doesn’t understand) and convenient self-cleaning feature. With a set of single-use capsules – which contain malt, yeast, hop oil and flavoring (the stuff you need to make beer) and the press of a button, the LG HomeBrew automates the whole procedure from fermentation, carbonation and aging to serving and cleaning.
And, it wouldn’t be 2018 (almost 2019) if you couldn’t monitor the entire process right from your phone.
As of right now, the HomeBrew will feature a hoppy American IPA, golden American Pale Ale, full-bodied English Stout, zesty Belgian-style Witbier and dry Czech Pilsner. It can produce up to five liters of premium quality beer in approximately two weeks depending on the beer type.
Or, you know, you can walk into a bar and get 5 liters of premium quality beer in seconds, but hey, if you’re looking for something to do and don’t want to do it the hard way, brewing your own beer Keurig-style sounds like a great hobby to pick up.
