Girl Stabs Her Friend With “Fake” Knife That Wasn’t Fake at Nashville Haunted House

Haunted houses get the blood pumping.

Usually, you just remind yourself that it’s all an act, and you chill out, walk through that thing like a boss. However, sometimes some freaky shit goes down, as it did last week in Nashville.

James Yochim and three friends headed to Nashville Nightmare in Madison last Friday. Some rando started chatting with James’ group, they all assumed the person was an actor for the haunted house. That person ended up handing James’ friend a knife, and told her to stab James with it. What a goof, right?

She, and all of them, assumed the knife was a prop and fake, so she winds up and stabs James. Welp.

It wasn’t fake. James almost passed out as he saw blood (his blood) everywhere, and a wound that went completely though his forearm. His friend was hysterical, crying her eyes out. There are no weapons allowed in the haunted house.

“As we have continued to review the information, we believe that an employee was involved in some way, and he has been placed on leave until we can determine his involvement,” Nashville Nightmare organizers said. “We are going over all of our safety protocols with all of our staff again, as the safety and security of all of our patrons is always our main concern.”

According to The Tennessean, the path of the wound missed any major arteries, bones or tendons in his arm, although his doctor is still carefully monitoring the healing process. No charges have yet to be filed and police have taken multiple statements.

Happy Halloween?
