Over the years we’ve lost so many great American institutions. Blockbuster, Pizza Hut Buffets, Toys “R” Us, Borders, and if the current behavior at Bass Pro Shops doesn’t show some immediate improvement we’re going to lose that as well.
You know what I’m talking about.
It started back in 2020 when the first Florida Man dove into one of the bass tanks in Fort Meyers. They found him because he posted a video of it to his own Facebook, which is hilarious.
There was a decent stretch of nothing until a Nashville man was arrested for peeing on items in a Bass Pro Shops.
From there, things just snowballed…
There was the Florida kid who stole a 50 pound tarpon from a Bass Pro Shops pond and then of course the infamous Alabama skinny-dipper in the Alabama Bass Pro Shops tank, and now we have another idiot doing idiot like things.
A video was posted to social media which shows what looks to be a teenager climb on top of a tank wall and jump right in, splashing a family of bystanders in the process.
Guys… GUYS… Stop it.
The powers that be are going to take Bass Pro Shops away from us if we don’t start behaving and that is not a world I want to live in. Do you want Bass Pro to turn into just a regular old outdoors store with no displays of enormous fish all over the place? I didn’t think so.
Get it together America. We’re better than this…
