Brent Cobb Drops New Gospel Album, ‘And Now, Let’s Turn To Page…’

Brent Cobb country music

I’ll tell ya what, these gospel songs Brent Cobb has been releasing over the last few weeks hit different.

From “We Shall Rise,” to “When It’s My Time,” and “Just a Closer Walk With Thee,” they all will make you feel like you’re sitting in a front row pew at a little white church somewhere down in Georgia.

With that being said, we can finally enjoy the full album now, as Cobb dropped And Now, Let’s Turn To Page… today.

The album, which was inspired by an awful wreck in which he got t-boned at a rural four-way stop with his young son in the car back in 2020, is a collection of gospel songs that are very dear to Cobb’s heart, with a number of them playing a crucial part in his upbringing in Ellaville, Georgia.

He reflected on the new record:

“These songs have uplifted my spirit throughout my whole life. They still do today.

Doesn’t matter to me what anyone does or doesn’t believe in, if the only belief one has is in music, I believe this album will uplift the listener’s spirit as well.”

The project was produced by Dave Cobb, and features an original gospel song “When It’s My Time,” written by Brent, his wife Layne, Mike and the Moonpies frontman Mike Harmeier.

Talk about good for the soul.

A sound like this just comes so natural for the guy.

“When It’s My Time”

“Are You Washed In The Blood”

“Old Rugged Cross”
