I’ll be honest, I’ve never had a non-alcoholic beer in my life. Unless you’re in recovery, I don’t get the point.
O’Doul’s, the popular non-alcoholic beer of Anheuser-Busch, just redesigned their cans in effort to attract all the cool kids to start drinking their drunkless carb water. Instagram be damned, it’s just not going to happen.
At 13.3 grams of carbs, 70 calories, and the important one, 0.4 ABV, I might as well blend up a loaf of bread and some water and drink that, because that’s what you’re getting here. Your getting shitty beer, empty calories, and zero buzz. Even a Bud Light, also made by Anheuser-Busch, has only 6.6 grams of carbs. That’s half the carbs AND you’re getting that buzz that you’re looking for. If you don’t want to get drunk at all… drink water. Actually, just don’t even come to the bar.
I think Hank said it best…
“Why do we drink? To get drunk.”
Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
