Pickles? Love em. Chocolate? Can’t live without it. BUT, when you put them both together, I’m not so sure…
I stumbled upon this recipe for “Chocolate Pickles” and I don’t know what to think about it. I’d like to think these would be good, but honestly, I’m not entirely convinced. The good thing is they look easy enough to make that I wouldn’t be opposed to giving it a shot.
2 c. pickle chips
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 c. chocolate chips, melted
Flaky sea salt
1. In a large bowl, toss pickle chips with sugar until fully coated. Move to the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
2. Remove from refrigerator and pat dry with paper towels.
3. Mix coconut oil fully into melted chocolate. Dip the pickles halfway in the chocolate, then place back on baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt.
4. Place in the refrigerator to harden for 10 more minutes.
