If you’re looking to start 2020 with a bang, and probably some controversy to go along with it, you’re going to want to get to Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock ‘N Roll Steakhouse in downtown Nashville this New Year’s Eve. Yes, that’s really what it’s called…
Kid Rock tweeted that he and his crew will be ringing in the new year at his Lower Broadway bar, and “may even jump up on stage and sing one or two around 10pm.”
We all remember the last time Kid Rock “jumped up on stage” at his bar, which ended with him being helped offstage by security after a drunken rant in which he called out Joy Behar and Kathy Griffin, and said that Oprah could “suck dick sideways.”
And if you think he learned his lesson from the bad publicity that he got from that incident… well, you obviously don’t know anything about Kid Rock. In a statement after his drunken rant, Kid Rock was anything but apologetic, saying: “I have a big mouth and I drink too much sometimes, shocker!”
Kid Rock onstage at his own bar on the drunkest holiday of the year? This shit’s going to be wild. So if you’re wanting to start 2020 with some fireworks, skip the ball drop and head down to Kid Rock’s. It’ll definitely be one to remember.
