I wonder if when Kacey Musgraves sat down at Freddy’s Place (RIP) on this random February afternoon, getting ready to perform “Oh Tonight” alongside Josh Abbott for a casual lunch crowd, she knew that she would be a 6-time GRAMMY winner and a 6-time CMA Awards winner 8 years later, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts in all of music.
My guess is probably not.
Nor do I think Josh Abbott would’ve suspected that the band he formed in college just a few short years ago would go on to be one of the most successful Texas Country bands in the world.
