Luke Combs Announces Zach Bryan’s Replacement For Seattle Stadium Show This Weekend… Mitchell Tenpenny

Mitchell Tenpenny country music

If you have tickets to see the Luke Combs show in Seattle this weekend, fear not…

Mitchell Tenpenny is stepping in for Zach Bryan as an opener, alongside the already scheduled Morgan Wade and Cody Johnson. Just a stellar replacement for Zach who, you know…  just released the album of the year with his incredible debut studio album, American Heartbreak.

And in case my sarcasm doesn’t jump through the screen, I’m joking. I honestly hope for Mitchell’s sake that the crowd goes easy on him and he doesn’t get booed off the stage…

And not even because of anything to do with him necessarily, Mitchell seems like a nice guy, but Zach Bryan fans are hardcore (to put it mildly) and I’m sure will be extremely disappointed he won’t be there in person.

I mean, if you signed up for Zach Bryan and you got Mitchell Tenpenny… they’re just such different artists. Like, polar opposites.

Zach is the hottest new artist in music right now, and Mitchell, well… just isn’t.

Of course, I’m sure Luke didn’t get a whole lot of say in who the replacement opener was, with it being this last minute, and Zach would love nothing more than to be there, but hey, strange times, we’re living in.

That being said, if you have tickets for the show in Seattle, definitely get your ass out there… it’s still going to be a great show. Luke, CoJo, and Morgan Wade? I don’t care who you put with those three.

“We’ll miss you this weekend, Zach Bryan, but get well soon and don’t worry, Mitchell Tenpenny is filling in and has got you covered!”

Zach recently tested positive for COVID, forcing him to cancel his appearance as one of the openers. And from what I’ve heard about the show in Denver, it sounds like most of the crowd was just as excited to see him as they were Luke. He’s spectacular live, so it really sucks for anyone looking forward to the show this weekend.

Zach put out the following statement yesterday breaking the news to fans, saying how sorry he was he’d have to miss not only the stadium show, but a couple of his own headlining shows, as well:

Zach did recently add a slew of new tour dates to his American Heartbreak tour, though, so if you’re gonna miss him on this one, check out all the new stops he’s heading to this fall:
