LeAnn Rimes And Ashley McBryde Deliver Rousing Performance Of “Nothing Better To Do”

What a duo.

Ashley McBryde and LeAnn Rimes teamed up for a rousing performance of “Nothing Better To Do” on the CMT Crossroads special, LeAnn Rimes & Friends.

This episode was filmed as part of a celebration for the 25th anniversary of LeAnn’s iconic 1996 debut studio album Blue, which was released when she was just 13 years old, if you can believe it, and featured her only #1 hit to date, “One Way Ticket”.

The episode also featured Carly Pearce, Mickey Guyton and Brandy Clark.

LeAnn’s 1996 version of “Blue” was originally released in 1958 by Bill Mack, but ultimately became a massive hit and one of her signature songs. LeAnn did a quick opening verse of that before going straight into “Nothing Better To Do” with Ashley.

“Nothing” was co-written by LeAnn and released as the lead single to her 2007 album, Family, and I can’t get enough of these two on stage together. They look like they’re old friends out there having the time of their life, the joy on their faces is infectious.

And not to state the obvious here, but you’d  be hard pressed to find two better vocalists in the game right now, which makes the whole thing that much better:

Ashley, LeAnn and Carly sang “One Way Ticket” together, as well:
