Joe Burrow Says The Diamonds In His Chain Are Real: “I Have Too Much Money To Have Fake Ones”

Joe Burrow

Joe Burrrrrrrrow might be the coldest player in the game.

The quietly confident quarterback is notorious for his pregame getup and postgame antics, like rippin’ a cigar while dancing to “Get The Gat” after defeating the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional Round last week.

Needless to say, he continued the trend yesterday.

The man pulled up to Arrowhead Stadium yesterday decked out in sunglasses, a black turtleneck, and one of the iciest custom made Nike chains I’ve ever seen in my life.

He was ready to handle business, to say the least.

After the game, he was still rockin’ the “JB9” chain and turtleneck for the postgame press conference, and one of the reporters couldn’t resist but to ask him if the diamonds were real or not.

And his response?

“They’re definitely real. I make too much money to have fake ones.”

DAMN, go ahead Joey B. Let ’em know.

We’re talking about a guy who had hardly any bigtime offers as a three-star QB coming out of high school, and was a 3rd or 4th stringer on the Ohio State roster before transferring to LSU and breaking the NCAA touchdown passing record while winning a National Championship and a Heisman trophy.

Now he’s gonna be playing in the Super Bowl in only his second year in the League, he’s got all the room to talk.

And oh yea, he wasn’t lying about the “making too much money” part.

He’s estimated to have already made $26.8 million in his first two years in the NFL…
