Post Malone’s country era is officially upon us.

After performing on the CMA Awards with Morgan Wallen and Hardy last year, being pictured in the studio with Ernest and Luke Combs (among others), and saying that he’s working on his own country album, I think we have the first single coming soon.

Posty just shared a teaser on Instagram of him jamming out in the studio to one of his songs, which features vocals from Luke Combs (who he also tagged in the post).

It’s certainly much more country-sounding than anything he’s released before, and while we only get to hear part of the song, he’s seemingly coming out swinging with that Combs feature right out of the gate:

Post also recently covered Joe Diffie’s “Pickup Man” for Hardy’s forthcoming Hixtape Vol. 3, which is currently an official single at country radio.

Morgan Wallen had actually teased a different song before that he penned with Post and Ernest, though the fan reaction was not good at all and the video was removed several hours after it was posted, though you can still listen to it on a fan account HERE.

Out of all the pop stars trying to “go country” right now, Post Malone is easily the one I’ve been most excited about, so here’s to hoping it’s worth all of the hype… because I really want it to be.
