If you need a new Christmas Eve tradition for your family, this is the one.

Christmas Eve is a stressful time for parents. Getting everything prepared for the big day, making sure the house and presents are ready for Santa, getting the kids to bed…

Well why not let Ed Orgeron help with the Christmas Eve bedtime story and a reading of the Christmas classic “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas?”

Well, sort of.

Coach O, true to his Cajun roots, shared a video of himself reading the bayou classic “Cajun Night Before Christmas,” which features not cookies and milk but gumbo by the fireplace, and a team of gators pulling Santa through the bayou.

Now, did I understand every word he said? Not at all.

But your kids will get the gist of it, and that’s what’s important.

And man does this make me miss Coach O even more.

I mean, could you imagine Brian Kelly trying to read this book to kids with his fake southern accent?

Coach O is out there living his best life, just hanging out at his beach house in Destin and reading bedtime stories to the internet on Christmas.

Merry Christmas everybody – from Coach O, and all of us here at Whiskey Riff.
