ESPN Interviews Philadelphia Phillies While “Dicked Down In Dallas” Blasts In The Background After NL Wild Card Win

The Philadelphia Phillies and “Dicked Down In Dallas” are becoming my favorite MLB postseason tradition.

After the Phillies took down the Atlanta Braves last year to advance to the NLCS, the team celebrated by belting out the viral Trey Lewis hit in the locker room in an absolutely wild scene.

And it seems like they’re ready to keep that energy going in this year’s World Series.

The Phillies took down the Marlins last night in the NL Wild Card round, a 7-1 rout to sweep the best-of-three series and advance to the NLDS.

And while they were being interviewed in the locker room after the game, a familiar song was playing: Of course it was “Dicked Down In Dallas.”

Fans found it hilarious that the song was clearly audible during the televised postgame interviews:

The locker room looked like an absolute scene with the beer flowing and the song blasting in the background. Just electric.
