Gotta love when big artists do stuff like this.

Kenny Chesney has to be the country music artist most synonymous with the beach.

Songs like “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem,” “Pirate Flag,” and “Beer In Mexico” are just some of the large catalogue of music designed for those tiki dive bars next to the water, and regardless of how you many feel about him as an artist, it just feels right to put his songs on shuffle when your feet hit the sand.

But this isn’t just a career path and style designed by some suits in a Nashville boardroom, Kenny is always by the water, and just yesterday posted a short clip of him frequenting one of those tiki dive bars called Capt. Tony’s Saloon in key West, Florida.

While there’s not many details on exactly what the story is, it appears Kenny just walked in and asked to play a few songs, which of course he was allowed too.

The song in the video is his all-time great heartbreaker with Grace Potter, “You And Tequila.” Written by Matraca Berg and Deana Carter, it was released in 2011 as the fourth single from his Hemingway’s Whiskey album and is now certified 3x Platinum by RIAA.

Can you imagine ordering you’re third afternoon Corona and seeing Kenny Chesney walk in, pick up the guitar, and just start playing? Man, is that al all-time great moment or what?

Shoutout to Kenny Chesney for doing this, it’s how you stay a fan favorite for as long as he has.
