This is a show you don’t want to miss.
Tonight, the Grand Ole Opry is airing a previously recorded show this featuring a fantastic lineup of performers including John Anderson, Tyler Childers, Elizabeth Cook, Sierra Hull, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings.
Of course, Tyler and John are some of the greatest artists country music has to offer, and Tyler was even featured on last year’s John Anderson tribute album Something Borrowed, Something New: A Tribute to John Anderson, where he covered “Shoot Low Sheriff!”
And they even teamed up for a kickass duet version of it here for the crowd at the Opry last year, with John introducing Tyler with some very high praise by saying:
“I want to say what an honor it is to be up here standing with this young man. In my opinion, he’s one of the greatest singers and songwriters to come along in a long time.
Y’all are gonna be hearing a lot from this young man.”
Like I said, a can’t-miss show.
