We Need Luke Combs To Record A Full Cover Of “Ain’t No Sunshine” ASAP

Earlier today Luke Combs announced his new EP, The Prequel, would be released on June 7th.

“Beer Never Broke My Heart” along with 4 new songs will appear on the EP:

“Refrigerator Door”

“Even Though I’m Leaving”

“Lovin’ On You”

“Moon Over Mexico”

The YouTube rabbit hole is a fun place to be when it comes to Luke’s music – so much great unreleased stuff, videos before he was country’s newest megastar, and covers you may have missed. One of those covers, albeit very short, is the classic Bill Wither’s song, “Ain’t No Sunshine.”

The video is nearly four years old, but it gives you a first-hand glimpse at the talent he had from the beginning. The rest is history as they say, but I sure as hell wouldn’t mind seeing Luke do a full version of this cover.

Check it out.
