Down goes Jake…
After a few years of boxing other YouTubers, undersized former NBA players, and washed-up UFC fighters, Jake Paul finally stepped into the ring with a young, athletic boxer (granted, not a very good one) in that of Tommy Fury, the younger brother of two-time heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury.
And… lost.
Fury was even knocked down in the eighth round, but went on to win the fight by a split decision (74-75, 76-73, 76-73 ) at Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
After the fight, Paul called his first career loss a “humbling experience,” and was looking forward to rematch:
“This is definitely a humbling experience. I’ll take it on the chin and we can run it back.”
We’ll see…
Tommy was also a class act at the end, saying he has nothing but love and respect for Jake:
But nevertheless… the entire internet is LOVING it:
