Lainey Wilson’s Campfire Session Performance of “Hold My Halo” Is Just What You Need To Watch Before The ‘Yellowstone’ Premiere

Lainey Wilson country music

This morning CMT released a video of Lainey Wilson singing her song, “Hold My Halo,” from her Campfire Session.

I didn’t know I needed this today, but CMT released this video.

It’s phenomenal.

“Hey, y’all, it’s Lainey Wilson. I am so excited to be a new cast member of Yellowstone, which premieres tonight.”

She says at the beginning of the video.

The stripped-down version of the song lets the CMA New Artist of The Year’s vocal ability shine.

She is joined by four of her bandmates that hold down the melody, and her steel guitar player lays it down.

I think this stripped-down version might be my favorite that I’ve heard of, “Hold My Halo.”

There is no doubt that Wilson is a phenomenal artist, but tonight we also get to see her tap into acting as she hits TV screens around the nation for the season 5 premiere of Yellowstone.

I am very excited to see the development of Wilson’s character and how she throws her Louisiana roots into her acting.

Check it out, y’all! This was the perfect gift on the premiere day. Tonight can’t come soon enough.
