University Of South Carolina Football Team Releases Zach Bryan “Something In The Orange” Hype Video

South Carolina football

Here down south, there’s nothing better than the buildup for your favorite college football team’s weekend game.

Of course, college football is a borderline religion here, so sports fans alike spend Monday through Friday waiting on the edge of their seats for the chance to catch their favorite team’s game on Saturday.

And with the emergence of college football social media over the past six or seven years, that buildup has amplified 10 times more.

Now I’ll admit, I’m a diehard Clemson sports fan through and through, and the University of South Carolina is our bitter rivals, and it’s a pretty safe bet to say the majority of fans from both fanbases would rather see our rival lose than our own team win.

However, I’ve always been one to give credit where credit is due, and I’ll fully admit that U of SC’s social media team absolutely killed this hype video for their game against Vanderbilt this past Saturday.

In the footage, you see members of the football team warming up at Vanderbilt’s stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, as a burnt orange sun is setting in the background.

And what music was the video set to?

No other than “Something in the Orange” by Zach Bryan.

Needless to say, it’s a unique transition from the typical rap that’s used for most sports based social media posts, and what better way to put a spin on things than by throwing in the most popular country song on the planet right now?

I’ll gladly hand South Carolina’s social media team a W for this one.
