Morgan Wallen Scores Sixth Career #1 On Country Radio With “Wasted On You”

Morgan Wallen country music

After a quick run up the charts, Morgan Wallen officially has his sixth career #1 at country radio.

With an impact date just a few months ago on March 7th, “Wasted On You” is the #1 song on the Mediabase country chart this week, which is one of two charts labels use to officially track their songs performance (along with the Billboard Country Airplay chart):

From his record breaking 2021 double album, Dangerous, Morgan wrote “Wasted On You” with his friend and “Flower Shops” collaborator Ernest, as well as Ryan Votjesak and Josh Thompson, and Morgan’s mentioned before that it’s his personal favorite from the record.

Previous #1’s from Dangerous include the prior three singles, “More Than My Hometown,” “7 Summers,” and “Sand in My Boots.”

Pretty damn cool to have your favorite song from such a massive record become a hit.

I’ll always be partial to the acoustic, stripped-down Dangerous Sessions version, though:
