Deana Carter is officially rereleasing her iconic ’90s album, Did I Shave My Legs For This?.

The record peaked at #2 on the Billboard U.S. Top Country Albums chart back in 1996. It also featured one of my favorite ’90s country songs of all time, the #1 hit “Strawberry Wine”, which has been covered countless times by other artists like Riley Green, Kelly Clarkson and Scotty McCreery.

She’s also featuring some fantastic female artists on some of the songs, specifically “Strawberry Wine” and the title track, which includes Lauren Alaina, Martina McBride, Ashley McBryde, Kylie Morgan, Terri Clark and Sara Evans. Vince Gill will play guitar on both songs, as well.

In a video announcing the updated project, Deana expressed her excitement in putting fresh take on her classic album:

“Y’all, today is such a special day and I am so moved.

I have been so emotional because today, Capitol Nashville announced that they are rereleasing my very first album, ‘Did I Shave My Legs For This?’, for a 25th year anniversary.

We have some amazing artists on that project, we redid “Strawberry Wine” and “Did I Shave My Legs For This?”.

I, for one, can’t wait to hear two new collaborations with the aforementioned ladies, as well as all of the other remastered original tracks.

The record will be out in just over a month on November 4th.

“SO excited to have my friends join me on the 25th anniversary re-release of my debut album ‘Did I Shave My Legs For This? coming Nov 5th.”
