Two legends make for one legendary moment…
You may not know this, but Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash came together to write one of Johnny’s popular, but not crazy popular songs, “Wanted Man,” which came out on his 1971 album Little Fauss and Big Halsy. The two also recorded a version together.
While they did get a fully polished version done later, there is a great cut of the first take of the recording which shows how fun it must have been to be in the studio with Johnny Cash at any time.
The greatness and influence of these men on music as a whole cannot be overstated. I’d have killed to be a fly on the wall for that session, or any time the two of them got together…
