“It’s All About Them” – Tom Brady Eviscerates The Selfishness Of Today’s Youth

If there’s one person that has some credibility when it comes to being a team player, it’s probably Tom Brady.

You don’t just win seven Super Bowls on your own. That’s only done if every player on the team is working together and on the same page. Tom Brady knows a thing or two about how that works, which means in turn he also knows how things do not work.

The former (?) QB was a guest on the DeepCut Podcast earlier this month, and while he was being interviewed while getting a haircut (hence the name DeepCut), Brady took a moment to be an “old man” and complain about today’s youth:

“I think the biggest problem with a lot of f***** kids these days is it’s all about them. It’s all about them. Their brand, their social media. When it’s about me and not us, well, there’s no way to succeed as a team, if all you’re doing is thinking about how selfish it is for you to get the attention.”

Hey, he’s probably not wrong in saying that, right?

That was definitely a juicy quote from the future Hall of Famer, though the podcast clip that has gotten the most attention was “Touchdown Tom” saying that he was keeping the door open for a return to the NFL:

“I’m not opposed to it. I don’t know if they are going to let me if I become an owner of an NFL team. I don’t know. I’m always going to be in good shape, always be able to throw the ball. So, to come in for a little bit like MJ coming back… I don’t know if they’d let me, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

Yelling at kids to be better and teeter-tottering on retirement? Tom Brady really is getting old, isn’t he? Even though he inexplicably looks younger than when he first got into the NFL.
