It’s no Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kiss, but this kept me up at night after the Super Bowl.
Usher’s halftime performance was a hit for some and a miss for others. While I personally enjoyed hearing a portion of my childhood played through the speakers of the watch party, I mildly fangirled seeing Lil Jon brought out on stage; other people were not as into the R&B superstar’s performance.
I must admit, though, the memes of folks not recognizing who any of the guests on stage were have had me in giggles all day.

During the final portion of the performance, when Lil Jon had the crowd going to “Turn Down For What” leading into “Yeah,” one dancer (I would hope) was launched, and I mean LAUNCHED, into the air, and it has frankly been haunting my mind since. It has surfaced all over social media because it seems that even though he was shown flying high above the rest of the crowd in the scene, no one knows who he was.
The jury is still out on whether he was a dancer or a fan who was on the field for the performance. Needless to say, the moment has overshadowed Lil Jon’s performance on social media, as he has gone stupid viral.
With his limbs flailing and the camera operators not even trying to shade the broadcast from seeing it, he comes to the ground and is never seen again.
