Bison Slips And Busts Its A** On Ice At Yellowstone National Park

There are few things that are as physically and emotionally painful than slipping on ice and busting your a** in front of all your buddies. For one, your backside is on fire because the ice is about as solid as cement. For two, it’s the perfect opportunity for your friends to make you the butt-end of the joke for the rest of the day.

However, us humans aren’t the only ones who struggle with slipping on ice…

Apparently, bison do too… and big trees fall hard.

Believe it or not, bison are pretty agile creatures for their massive size. I know, I know, you wouldn’t believe it at first sight, considering they have pretty small legs and a ton of weight in their upper body. But, don’t get it twisted… bison can move at pretty high speeds.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that the creatures aren’t susceptible to absolutely busting their a** in front of their friends, as we see in this video.

This one all went down at Yellowstone National Park, where you can see a group of bison hanging out on and around a frozen pond inside the park’s Lamar Valley. Then, one of the bison attempts to make its way onto the ice, only to start losing its footing, completely slipping and falling onto the frozen landscape. It fights to recover but nothing doing… down it goes.

Yeah… I can imagine this bison’s pride was hurt.
