Chip off the ol’ block.

The Nashville Predators are in Music City taking on the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Preds are currently down 2-1 in the series and looking to tie it up at home before heading back to Canada for game 5. And they’ve got plenty of help from Smashville cheering them on.

Taylor Lewan, former offensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans, is a fixture in Bridgestone Arena when his hometown NHL team is playing. So of course he’s there today for game 3, and he’s got his family with him as they cheer on the Preds.

And during the first period of the game, the camera found Lewan in the stands and turned to him to hype up the crowd with his signature move: Pounding a beer.

Lewan put on an impressive performance for sure, but after he finished it was his daughter’s turn to hype up the crowd.

Now, of course his daughter’s a little too young to chug a beer, but she’s obviously learned a thing or two from watching ol’ dad, so she threw back a water as the crowd cheered her on – and dad looked on with pride.

Raisin’ em right.

And of course fans were loving it:

It’s a family tradition.
