Miranda Lambert And Reba Singing “Mama’s Broken Heart” Together Will Have You Fired UP

Well, it will have you fired up or ready to actually set something on fire, same difference.

I kid, I kid… kind of.

Miranda Lambert headlined Stagecoach on Saturday night, delivering a high-energy, kickass set that also included a guest appearance from her hero, Reba. The two sang Reba’s hit “Fancy,” and also delivered a rousing duet of Miranda’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” (in addition to some of her other hits).

The single became a huge hit after Miranda included it as the fourth single from her 2011 Four the Record album, and was written by Kacey Musgraves with Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally.

Of course, the song tells the story of a woman going through pretty tough breakup and can’t seem to live up to her mama’s, or society’s, expectations when it comes to moving on the “ladylike” way.

It never fails to get me fired up and motivated when I need it most, but this version with Reba… there’s just something extra there that I didn’t even know the song needed.

They’re two of the sassiest, most brazen women in the industry, and seeing them on stage together is truly a sight to behold. I need this injected directly into my veins…

Here’s a video that’s a little bit longer with the full performance:

And in addition to bringing out Reba, Miranda debuted a brand new song called “Wranglers,” which is her first released with her new label Republic and slated to officially drop this Friday, May 3rd:
