Alright, this hurts my heart to see.

So many times here at Whiskey Riff, we’ve seen countless examples of tourists approaching wild animals, and getting significantly injured.

There’s a reason why national parks have very clear rules about staying at least 25 yards away from wildlife, because once you approach a wild animal that is more scared of you than you are of it, things could end VERY badly.

With that being said, here’s yet another example of tourists approaching a wild animal, but this time it resulted in a very young girl getting hurt.

In this video, you can see a large group of tourists visiting Zyuratkul National Park in Chelyabinsk, Russia consisting of both adults and children, surrounding a wild moose from a dangerously close distance.

At first, everything seems okay, as the moose even appears to let a few of the tourists pet it.

However, things begin to go south quick when one of the adults in the group gets right up in the face of the moose. It’s easy to see that the creature is startled by this, and proceeds to kick a very young girl standing beside the woman right in the face, sending her straight to the ground. She seems to block most of the blow with her arm, but that couldn’t have felt good. Moose kicks have enough force to do serious damage, especially to a young child whose head and face are more in line for a direct hit. Just think about it… these moose kicks are used to fend off bears and wolves… what do you think it is going to do to you?

The moose then takes off in the opposite direction. I mean c’mon, what are the adults doing here? They literally put this young girl in immediate danger, and she ultimately paid the price for it. If this isn’t a lesson learned for these folks, I don’t know what is.
