Seems like CNN’s New Years Eve show was pure chaos.
I didn’t watch it live, but from the clips I’ve seen, hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen were just ripping tequila shots all night, and the results were pretty much what you would expect.
And at one point (after a few of those shots) John Mayer appeared on the show, live from Tokyo, Japan – and the hosts just couldn’t keep it together.
Mayer was appearing from a cat bar in Japan, a concept which blew Cooper and Cohen’s minds:
“Talk to me about this bar. You’re in the bar and there are cats everywhere, they are licking each other…”
But Mayer wasn’t sure why they were confused:
“This is a place you can come, enjoy a drink or two, and talk to cats. It’s a cat bar. I mean I don’t know how much more clear I can be about the objective of this place.”
Sounds reasonable to me.
But Cooper and Cohen just could not control their laughter as they watched Mayer sitting in a bar surrounded by cats – one of which had its butthole right up to the camera beside John Mayer’s face:
“Just the shot of the cat’s ass in your face is making him delirious.”
At one point Mayer was feeding the cat some kind of paste, they were walking all over the bar and just putting their butthole in the camera, John Mayer was speaking Japanese to the cats…it was just pure chaos.
