Some of the best in the business. This blog is for us poor souls who were not in attendance at this show.

Whiskey Myers is coming off their run of sold-out acoustic shows at The Caverns outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

While the venue provides a unique listening experience in itself as it’s in a cave, Whiskey Myers elevated the already magical experience with their full-band acoustic set.

The stripped-down songwriting from the East Texas band was amplified as Cody Cannon’s voice rang through the underground venue. The unique setup of a full-band acoustic set also keeps the integrity of each song but lightly strips it back. It’s the best of both worlds; you get the intimate feeling of an acoustic set while still enjoying the talent of the whole band.

Not to mention that the acoustics down in the cave are next level, letting Cannon’s already unreal vocals get an extra boost of greatness.

This article is one where you need to watch the clips and see how face-melting good Whiskey Myers is throughout an acoustic set. With their limited run doing shows like this, I know that I have major concert envy for those who will see them during later dates and who got to experience The Caverns.

Two morals came out of this story: 1) If Whiskey Myers announces another acoustic tour, be there. 2) If that acoustic tour stops at The Caverns, find any way to get there.
