A John Mayer classic.
Today, ERNEST released a studio cover of John Mayer’s fan-favorite song “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room,” which he previously released a live performance video of it as part of his Circle Sessions series.
The song was included on Mayer’s 2006 hit album Continuum, and though it was never released a single, became a huge success nonetheless and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
With some added steel guitar in the background and more country-leaning twist on “Slow Dancing,” Ernest called it simply:
“An all time favorite of mine.”
And if, like me, you’re a big John Mayer fan too, I think you’ll really appreciate this rendition and the way Ernest made it his own while still paying respect to the flawless original.
