This new Martin Scorsese film, Killers of the Flower Moon, can’t get here fast enough.

I’ll admit, besides Top Gun: Maverick, it’s been a long time since there’s been a movie I’ve highly anticipated, and this one has greatness written all over it.

Of course, the impressive cast immediately draws your attention, starring the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, and more. But on top of that, we have some country singers making their way into the cast listing as well, including Sturgill Simpson, Randy Houser, and Jason Isbell.

So far, we’ve had a couple of teasers to give us a sneak peak on what we can expect from the movie based off of David Grann’s best-selling 2017 book.

And now, we’re officially getting an inside look at the film as well, featuring the likes of Scorsese, DiCaprio, and more.

The beginning of the clip shows Scorsese giving a rundown of the movie:

“Killers of the Flower Moon was a series of murders of Osage men and women to bilk them after the discovery of oil on their land.

I was drawn to the idea of to tell this terribly tragic story that was never brought to national attention.

One of the keys that I was drawn to this work where friendship and love existed with latent extortion, exploitation, and murder.”

DiCaprio, who plays Ernest Burkhart, a white man who marries Osage native Mollie (Lily Gladstone), also said in the clip:

“Marty was obsessed with telling this story with the most honesty that he possibly could.”

Scorsese also discussed his purpose behind turning this story into a film:

“I wanted to do justice to the Osage so the audience feels the immensity of the tragedy.”

Killers of the Flower Moon is slated to premiere on October 20th.
