Kentucky Coach Mark Stoops Says He’s Confident Fans Can “Get Up Very Early And Pound Some Beers” Before Noon Kickoff This Saturday

This Saturday, the Florida Gators are traveling up to Lexington, Kentucky to take on the Kentucky Wildcats in what should be a great SEC matchup, as the Gators are still coming off a massive win against Tennessee, and the Wildcats are currently undefeated.

However, there’s one down part about the game…

It’s a noon kickoff.

Now if you love tailgating, you know how much noon kickoffs suck. You have to wake up at the a** crack of dawn, get everything situated, and get out there early in the morning to set everything up.

Not to mention, you don’t have much time to party and drink, which is the best part about tailgating.

On top of that, the crowds aren’t that rowdy because virtually everybody is sober, and still half asleep.

However, Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops is fully confident that Wildcat fans are going to show up rowdy as ever for the big game against Florida…

And they’re gonna drink too.

Stoops said in a press conference:

“I have great confidence in the people of Kentucky that can get up very early and pound some beers. Why would you disrespect this great state and the people of it.”

You have to love a comment like this from the head ball coach here. Do you think Nick Saban would ever say something like this in a press conference?

Absolutely not.

Hopefully the Kentucky fans can live up to Stoops’ high expectations on Saturday.
