Shaquille O’Neal is a national treasure, and we must protect him at all costs.

Ever since Shaq’s Hall of Fame career in the NBA, the man has been known for his charisma on and off the court, along with his good deeds.

From paying for a random family’s appliances at Home Depot, to driving around Atlanta and delivering Papa John’s pizzas while helping employees go to college, and even playing with kids at a pool in Hawaii, the list goes on and on.

Not to mention, the guy is also hilarious as a commentator on Inside the NBA, alongside Charles Barkley.

With that being said, the man is back at it again in a both awesome and hilarious way.

Shaq made an appearance on the LA Port Police’s most recent recruitment video.

The NBA legend has actually volunteered as a reserve for the LA Port Police in the past, so this is just another day on the job for him. He was named an honorary US Deputy Marshall in 2005, after he attended the Los Angeles County’s Reserve Academy.

O’Neal also became an honorary Miami Beach police officer with a $1 annual salary, as well as a Broward County, Florida, auxiliary deputy:

In the hilariously cheesy video, the LA Port Police corners a suspect right by the water, and they call for backup…

And the backup is no other than Shaq.

Once the culprit sees the 7-foot-1 inch Shaq, he immediately crumbles in fear and hops in the back of the police cruiser.

Not gonna lie, this one kind of reminds me of when Shaq appeared in Grown Ups 2 as officer Fluzoo.

Legendary stuff.
